Overview
Invites original postgraduate research (Master’s or PhD) on African trade, finance, regional integration, and sustainable development. Papers of 3,000–5,000 words are submitted and judged by an independent jury. Top papers are presented to Afreximbank leadership and published as policy briefs.
Eligibility
Postgraduate students (Master’s or PhD) enrolled at an accredited African (or eligible CARICOM) institution and holding African/CARICOM nationality, UNIMA postgraduates qualify.
Priority areas
Trade, finance, regional integration and sustainable development in Africa.
How to apply
Submit a 3,000–5,000-word research paper via the CANEX portal; any AU official language accepted. Themes: trade, finance, integration, sustainable development.
