Overview

The Conservation Action Research Network (CARN) established the BOCHCO Pangolin Conservation Grant in 2026 to support graduate students and early-career African scientists conducting innovative field research on pangolin conservation, focusing on the four threatened African pangolin species.

Eligibility

Graduate students and early-career professionals (degree obtained within the last five years) resident in an eligible African nation — Malawi is explicitly listed. Research must focus on one or more eligible African pangolin species (the Ground pangolin occurs in Malawi).
