Overview
The Global Disaster Preparedness Centre (GDPC), in partnership with the French Red Cross Foundation, funds researchers to study the principled and accountable use of technology in humanitarian action. The programme specifically supports researchers from low- and middle-income countries.
Eligibility
University researchers from low- and middle-income countries; Malawi qualifies via LMIC. Disciplines across the social sciences and humanities (sociology, anthropology, law, human geography, management, behavioural studies, psychology).
What is funded
Principled and accountable use of technology in humanitarian action; disaster preparedness and community resilience research.
