Leverhulme Trust — Visiting Professorships 2026

Enables a UK institution to invite an eminent overseas academic to enrich the skills of researchers there. A UNIMA professor would be hosted by a UK university, which submits the application.

The application MUST be made by the UK host institution, the visiting academic cannot apply. A UNIMA professor would be the invited Visiting Professor, hosted by a UK university that submits and leads the application.

Maintenance, travel expenses and research costs for the visit

The UK host applies via the Leverhulme Trust Grants Management System; both the proposed Visiting Professor and the UK host must approve by the deadline (1 September 2026).
