NIHR Global Advanced Fellowships

Career development fellowships for outstanding global health researchers in LMICs or the UK. Non-clinical research only, health systems, implementation science, epidemiology, biomedical research.

Applicants must be employed by an HEI or Research Institute in an ODA-eligible LMIC in sub-Saharan Africa or South Asia (Malawi qualifies), or a UK HEI; at least one partner in an ODA-eligible LMIC is required, and outputs must be of primary relevance to LMIC health challenges. Researchers at LMIC institutions in SSA/South Asia are given strategic priority.

The scheme is open to all health, public health and social care research and methodology professions.
