Overview
TREE Fund supports university-based research in arboriculture, urban forestry, and related fields. Three active programmes: Jack Kimmel International Grant (arboriculture, tree health, risk, up to $10,000), John Z. Duling Grant (exploratory arboriculture and plant development, up to $25,000), and Building Bridges Initiative (collaborative tree value research, up to $30,000).
Eligibility
Researchers at academic institutions worldwide, UNIMA qualifies. Applicants of any nationality. Research must relate to arboriculture or urban forestry. UNIMA Forestry, Agriculture, and Environmental Science faculty are eligible.

Submit a brief Letter of Inquiry (LOI) by September 15, 2026, at the Funder's page LoI requirements are minimal: 1 page project description, team CVs, and budget estimate.
