The Royal Society is the United Kingdom’s national academy of sciences, founded in 1660 and one of the oldest scientific institutions in the world. It funds fellowships, grants and international collaboration across the natural sciences. Its Wolfson Visiting Fellowships bring overseas researchers to UK hosts, with the UK institution making the application.
