A three-year research fellowship on children's thriving and learning, funded by the LEGO Foundation and run by the Social Science Research Council.
Eligibility
Open to researchers from around the world employed by a university or research institute. The PhD or equivalent must have been obtained between 1 January 2016 and 31 July 2026. This is an individual application — the applicant is the fellow, and the University administers the funds.
What is funded
Research personnel, professional travel, equipment, dissemination, trainee support and related project costs, with indirect costs capped at 15% of the total.
How to apply
Apply through the SSRC portal with a two-page CV, a 250-word research abstract, a 500-word personal statement, a five-page research proposal, budget and justification on the provided templates, and a two-page bibliography. No referees are required, and no embassy or national body is involved.
