MMV invites proposals from African scientists in four priority areas: (1) medicinal chemistry, novel molecules with confirmed antimalarial activity (EC50 < 10 µM) and a credible optimisation plan, especially compounds suitable for chemoprevention; (2) assay development and screening to support discovery or development of novel antimalarials; (3) computer-aided drug discovery using cheminformatic or bioinformatic approaches; (4) large molecules, biologics or oligonucleotides for malaria treatment or chemoprevention.
